I and my people identify as Indian. We are written in the U. S. Constitution in Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3, “and excluding Indians not taxed”. The Constitution recognizes my people as ‘Indian’, acknowledging our unique standing in law (U.S. Census Bureau). Moreover, Indians are defined in Bouviers Constitutional Dictionary, adopted to the U. S. Constitution, “INDIAN”; the Aborigines of this country are so called”.
Recently many of us have found proof that our ancestors did not renounce their “tribal rule” and were fraudulently assimilated into United States citizenry. Now we proudly celebrate the lawful right to rescind the U. S. Birth Certificate to live in accordance with the ancestral rules that are written in the Great Law Of Peace and also the “Law Of The Land”; wherein it is unlawful for an “Indian” to be taxed and forcibly assimilated into U. S. Citizenry. tehonatonkatone
Now, there is an emerging narrative among those who Identify as Native American to symbolize the people who are “Indian” as a racist term. Whereas; they have constructed a false narrative that an “Indian” is derogatory, offensive and soon to be obsolete. This narrative has become so wide spread that Aborigine American Indians are now facing ridicule and have been dangerously discriminated against in public spaces (See Target Video).
Their propaganda campaign is in continuation of Walter Ashby Plecker’s act of Genocide to erase my ancestors existence by reclassifying them from Indian to colored and colored to Negro. These Native Americans not only want to remove “Indian” from the lips of the people, but desire to remove “Indian” from towns, cities and villages where our people once lived. It is well known, that for many years, Native American activists have petitioned the removal of any identifying features and likeness of the “Copper Colored” people from posters, bills and advertisements where there are mass gatherings.
DANGEROUS NARRATIVE!
This isn’t just a call for the removal of a name but the extinction of my people; and also a call to alter or remove the U. S. Constitution. We must not change the constitution but come together to enforce the laws that my ancestor and your forefathers agreed to abide by. We are living in the time correcting and preserving American history, culture, and enforcing the protections written within the Constitutional. It’s about ensuring that future generations of our American Indian offspring can proudly and safely self identify as Indian without fear of being ridiculed and labeled as racists or outdated.
Please sign this petition to help preserve the identity of American Indians in accordance with the United States Constitution.
We urge everyone to sign this petition to help counter these narratives with truth and respect for all identities recognized under the U.S Constitution. This the THE LAND OF THE FREE and the HOME OF THE BRAVE.
